Summer Summer Summer TIME!!!

The weather has been A-MAZE-ING the past few weeks. I can't remember the last time I had a tan before June! How can a little color on your skin boost your mood so much? I am definitely loving not going into the office everyday and taking advantage of our neighborhood pool. (which Liam also enjoys!!!) We are enjoying the mid-morning trips to the pool before it gets too warm and all the kids get home from school. Next trip I will take a picture of the little guy in his cute little swim outfit.

Liam updates....He turned 5 months yesterday. I can't believe it! We made a last minute appointment this week for what I thought might be an ear infection. Ends up the little guy is teething and apparently their ears can bother them while teething. Good. To. Know. He weighed in at 17 pounds. He was 16.12 at his 4 months so he is still gaining weight but is starting to thin out. Don't worry...he is still chubby. He still loves to eat. I am grateful for a functioning body that can keep up with him.

We are most excited about his new found love for sleeping. He has NEVER been a napper. He never slept (during the day) even as an infant! It was exhausting! He would sleep pretty good at night on and off. 7 hours some nights. 3 hours the next. It was different every week. Anyways... He is now sleeping through the night. 7:45 to 7:00!!! I wake up at 7 and think "Did I wake up with him and just don't remember?" And taking three naps during the day! Sometimes he will even sleep for two hours! This is a big deal around here! He would usually only sleep for 30 minutes at a time. If that! Can you tell I'm excited? I know I know.... things can change back to the way they use to be in a blink of an eye but at least we know he can do it!

That is all the excitement in our house right now. We are grateful for sleep. Thank you Liam!

Here is a picture of Liam "napping". I forgot to take out his crib toy and took this picture before he noticed me.
