We're having a baby!!!
For some of you this isn't new news but we wanted to let everyone know that we are expecting a baby December 29th! We have known for a couple of months and we just had our second dr's appointment. Everything is going well for both baby and mommy. I have been really tired and Matt has been great about taking care of me, like usual. I am starting into the awkward pregnancy stage of looking chubby and not pregnant....here is a picture at 13 weeks. (No, I am not pushing it out. I just can't suck it in)

Updates
The past few weeks have been pretty busy. Two weeks ago we were able to take a quick trip to Seattle for Chris and Roxy's endowment session. We were really excited to be able to share the experience with them.
Saturday we were able to attend Roxy and Chris' sealing at the Portland Temple! It was another great experience! And busy day! Roxy looked beautiful!

Thanks to my fabulous friend Tanya for saving me last week! She had the opportunity to alter my bridesmaid dress, do my hair, and my make-up! I never heard one complaint!
It was crazy to think that it has already been 11 months since Matt and I were sealed in the Portland Temple. Time flies...Matt says that it feels like we have always been married. I don't know if I feel the same way but it has definitely flown by.

Blogging
Why is it so hard to blog??? My sister-in-law called me out in one of her blogs lately and said that she wants me to keep her updated on our exciting lives as newlyweds. She calls me at the end of each week to see what we have done for the week and she calls me Monday to see what we did over the weekend. I sometimes have something fun and exciting to tell her. But I often feel a little disappointed that I don't have that much to tell her. I am not sure if we really do have exciting lives and just don't think much about it or we really are just a busy newly couple with not much going on besides the norm. Which is...work, church, too much eating, and not enough sleep.
This week wasn't too much different than the week before. Monday night we made soup and went swimming in the rain! Yeah, it is June in Oregon! The weather has been so terrible. It usually isn't great in June but usually a little better than 50 degree weather and rain.
We bought a new couch and it was delivered on Wednesday! We love it!
Matt heard something on the radio the other night about cleaning under and around the fridge and stove. Rather than pulling out the stove he used his own method. A flashlight, yard stick and a rag. This had to be documented. He makes me laugh and does SO much around the house! He is the best!
I really would like to blog more but don't seem to know what to blog about. I am always entertained by every ones blogs but feel a little shy about blogging without pictures or about a random thought. Insecure that I won't be funny or entertaining???
Here is something that made me laugh tonight.... Matt is out for the evening and I decided to go to the store and buy some ice cream and ran upstairs to grab a sweatshirt and while going up the stairs I was dancing (flailing) my arms around in excitement for the ice cream and hit my elbow on the banister. I now have a lump and feel a little dumb. The ice cream was worth it!
